The third week of Maine deer season was a blast. We finished the week off at Chandler Lake Camps to share a deer camp with a group of great hunters. When everything comes together in a single heartbeat, you get the kind of moment every hunter dreams about. What started as a quiet morning, quickly turned into action as a Maine buck slipped through the woods...giving us only seconds to react. Old snow, a long day of tracking and finishing the final day with a buck down in the middle of who knows where?! It was everything tracking is supposed to be. Hard. Unpredictable.
