When we were kids, we thought it was just play. Fishing a small brook after school or wandering through the woods without a plan...always with a BB gun in hand. Looking back, those moments weren’t without purpose. They were building outdoor skills: shooting, instinct, reading the woods and waters. Long before we called ourselves hunters or fishermen, we were learning. Learning without realizing it.
