Just as fast as our 2024 moose season started, it ended! Much planning goes into a Maine moose hunt...scouting, gear, equipment, manpower, you name it. One plans for the worst but hopes for the best. Our first morning out we felt we had a good game plan for opening day. We intended to get into some deep woods away from other hunters where we had found some fresh sign the night before. Well, let's just say things didn't go as planned. In fact, we didn't even get a chance to put our plan into action! Things happened fast and just like that...Mark’s tag was punched! Enjoy!
